Since fibre was installed our phone starts to ring every 30 seconds then stops. Can talk talk create a fix for this?

Morning Andy,
I've not received an update as yet. If I don't hear anymore by later this morning then I will chase this.
Thanks
Michelle

Hi Andy,
I've passed this over to our Faults Escalation Team now and have asked them to apply the fix for this particular issue. I will post back here as soon as I receive confirmation that this has been completed.
Thanks
Michelle

With eero and Grandstream we had no landline at all. Several phone calls and one very long live chat, unplug this and that, restarts, reboots,,,nothing. So we are now on the router where we at least have a landline, which is essential, we can not be without it. Therefore we have to stay with this router but would like the annoying false ring sorting out. Please tell your colleagues not to suggest eero again, my nerves will not take it. Thanks

Sorry, just to confirm, You're using the sagemcom router and not the eero with grandstream digital voice adapter?

It's a very brief ring, stops almost immediately after it starts. We don't have another phone available. I read another post where someone called it a 'missed' call, same as us every thirty minutes. Also it's always 23 and 53 minutes past the hour if that helps.

I can't tell, the label has come off. It's a retro dial type with a traditional bell ring.

Hi Andy,
Just to confirm, are you using VOIP on the Wifi Hub 2 router please?
Can you please update your community profile to include your:
- Name
- TalkTalk Telephone number
- Alternative contact number
We'll then look into this further. Please do not post this information on this thread. Once you've updated your profile please post in your topic to confirm it's updated.
Thanks
Michelle

Hi,
Yes they can.
You are in the staff's queue for a response.
For a quicker reply can you please ensure you have your personal information up to date in your profile including your TalkTalk landline phone number so your account can be traced. Link here - https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/user/myprofilepage/tab/personal-profile:personal-info
If you are unsure of your phone number, you can find this in My Account or dial 17070 from your landline phone and this will confirm the number for you.
You can also add your account number in the private notes field, which only you and the support staff can view.
Please post back when done.
Thank you
