My landline is faulty. Incoming callers get an engaged tone when I am not on the phone and sometimes get a message "number not recognised" At other times the phone works OK. Frustatingly unable to contact a human at Talktalk for an update!!!!!

I was about to re-escalate this thread but noticed that you are not the original poster, @Rapaso.

If you are @rontroc, but had to change your user name, please let us know.

Otherwise, you need to return to the message board and click on start a topic to open your own thread.

Hi @rontroc

Thanks for updating your Community Profile.

I've completed a line test and this is clear - No faults detected.

Have you tested with a different phone directly at the test socket?

Hi @rontroc

I'm really sorry to hear this.

Please can you add your name and TalkTalk landline number to your Community Profile, we can then take a look at this for you.

Thanks

Live Chat was open earlier today for support, @rontroc.

Forum staff should pick this up pretty quickly on Monday.
