Landline not working - Can someone help?

Hi all - I have a telephone line fault.
Can someone please help me?

I have no service on my telephone line.

I have had an independent ex-BT guy, verify I have a fault on the Openreach network.

I have a master socket 5C fitted & have tested in the master jack.

I have no house wiring and it is completely dead.

What do I do as the Talk Talk help-desk are not listening to me??

Thank you

Bob

Hi Bob

I'm picking up a battery fault at the exchange.

I've logged this out to BT Openreach for a Non Appointed engineer - Non appointed means the engineer will be dispatched to look at the line without requiring an appointment be made with you to visit your property.

Check back with me in 24hrs and I can see if there is an update for you.

Thanks

Karl.

I have asked one of TalkTalk's OCEs to pick your thread up and investigate it for you.

They aim to respond within 48 hours (Monday - Friday), but if more urgent you can always try the Service Centre. The posts are responded to in time/date order, oldest first. Please try to avoid posting on here until TalkTalk have responded to you, otherwise, this will just put you further down the queue.

To save yourself time, please make sure that your community profile includes your first & last names, broadband phone number & if possible an alternative contact number. This can be done by clicking on your Avatar picture then click on "My Settings" followed by:-

Personal Profile > Personal Information

Otherwise, TalkTalk will not be able to tie up your forum username to your broadband account. Only you & TalkTalk have visibility of your details.
