My landline has stopped working for the last few days - can't make calls or receive calls. When I call the landline from my mobile it goes straight to v/m. Talk Talk just keep fobbing me off (via text, never get to speak to a person over the phone) and I'm answering the same Qs over and over again and when I called again today the recording tells me the problem has been fixed ... Oh really? I'm paying for a service and not receiving this.

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line now which is clear, however I can see that previous line test detected a possible loop fault. Do you still have no dial tone at the moment? Does your main socket have a test socket please?

Have you tried connecting your phone directly to the test socket?
