I recently changed from copper to full fibre broadband.
The Openreach contractor connected the new service to a telegraph pole at the front of my house, whereas the old connection was to a telegraph pole at the rear of the house.
How do I get the old wire at the back of the house removed?

Hi,
Openreach do not routinely remover the old copper wire. Their focus is on getting customers fixed up with fibre.
No doubt in time they will remove these due to the value in the wire.
However, if for example, you are carrying out repairs or decorating the property, you can contact Openreach directly and request they remove the old wiring.
Also bear in mind that internal wiring up to the master socket is Openreach property, but beyond that is yours so this can be removed. If you do remove wiring internally to the master socket might be worth keeping it in case you are ever asked for it.
Hope this helps.
