I'm not home but just do a Google search UK for Gondola style corded handset. It's a basic, no frills handset. So good they named it after me! Tee hee...

HI @Michelle-TalkTalk

I use the Grandstream with a standard Panasonic DECT cordless phone system with two handsets, it works very well.

I do use Digital Voice (VOIP) using a standard landline corded handset plugged into the Phone port.

Hi,

Ok thanks for confirming. As it did originally work on FTTP voice could you try resetting the DVA to see if there is any change please? Unfortunately we don't have a specific list of handsets that we can recommend. @KeithFrench  or @Gondola  do you both use VOIP on FTTP please?

RESETTING YOUR DIGITAL VOICE ADAPTER

If your Digital Voice adapter or router has stopped working, we may ask you to reset it to check everything's working as intended. To do this:

  1. Insert a pin or straightened paper clip into the hole labelled “Reset” on your Digital Voice adapter.
  2. Slightly push and hold it in for up to 20 seconds; or until all the lights, apart from the power light, switch off. Once this happens release the reset button.

Factory reset of the device will take a full 15 minutes and you need to wait until the allotted time has passed for the full factory reset to be completed. After 15 minutes, check your Digital Voice adapter device and try to re-test to check if the issue resolved.

yes it had been working, but we had been using  a really old handset, which has now stopped working.

Just want to make sure i buy the correct handset that works with the GRANDSTREAM MODEL HT801.

Or should any analogue handset work?

TalkTalk support had previously  said i need  a voip compatible

handset

Hi Andrew,

So just to confirm, are you able to make calls ok if you plug a phone into the Digital Voice Adapter and is there a dial tone?

new house phone didn't ring, calls just went through to the app.

Had same problem when i originally set-up, where some handsets wouldn't work with the grandstream,

Was told to get a voip compatible handset, but unable to find any

thanks

Hi Andrew,

Can I just confirm, what has not worked on the handsets please? Is it the Caller Display?
