Account password

I have had to set-up a new PC for my aunty after the old one failed after 14 years. Trying to set-up the email for her and she doesn't know the email password.

 

Normally I would just reset that within the account but she cannot remember the account password. When you try and reset the password after the verify stage the only option appearing is to send an email, there is no option for an SMS, which obviously we cannot access.

 

How do we resolve this chicken and egg situation. She does have a mobile (non smart) but talktalk would appear not to have the number.

 

She does still have a talktalk landline can we use that to do it in some way?

Thanks Ady I've been able to contact talktalk via online and they are sending a reset code to another email but not till tomorrow for some reason. Trying to set an account up on here for her the first thing it asks for is the account number which means going in the loft and finding an old paper bill.

If this code doesn't arrive I will do that but hopefully wont need to...
