Hi I have the same problem, every time I log on to my pc it says that supersafe needs to restart and that my device is not protected.  Once I restart it says all ok until the following day when I log on again and get the same message.  Can you help?

Hi, It seems to be okay now.  Uninstalling and reinstalling Supersafe has solved the problem I think.

Thanks for the help and advice.

I've just gone on to my dashboard and see they have updated this so you can now release the licence through there.

There is a link from your supersafe dashboard, but try this.

I'd suggest uninstalling and reinstalling the program.
To do this you will need to log into your f-secure account ( https://account.safeavenue.f-secure.com/as/authorization.oauth2?IdpAdapterId=talktalk44515idp&brand=...) (the password should be the same as for My Account, unless you have changed it) and release any licence that applies to your PC.
Next I'd suggest running the F-secure uninstall tool. This will remove any traces of the programme from your computer and hopefully allow a clean installation. The tool can be found here. https://www.f-secure.com/gb-en/support/tools

Then from your f-secure account install the programme again on your PC.
Once done and if you are still having issues, run check for windows update and once done (even if says up to date), shut down the PC and restart. Then re-run the Check Windows update. Some parts of windows require a restart before some others can be installed and once all updates installed, the issue with F-secure may resolve itself..
Hope this helps, but if you still have issues then let us know and I'll flag for further assistance.
