I need to give my computer consultant, JK, access to my PC to renew my antivirus protection. To do this, I turned off scam protection as requested, then I need to give the consultant access by opening a website logmein123.com. However, I cannot open this. Is there something else I need to do?

OK. That's possible.
(And definitely, a user of that site has to trust it.)

"However, I cannot open this."
Many such sites, notably TeamViewer, may be restricted by various safety settings. This is intended to prevent malevolent actors getting access through scams.

It looks like the website logmein123.com, which in full is 'secure.logmein123.com' is your consultant's website through which he will attempt to remotely connect, and deal with your issue. To allow this to go ahead, you need to go to that site via your browser and enter the code, which he would have already given you.
I assume that trust has already been established.

What "scam protection" do you mean? Have you turned HomeSafe off, if you have it?
