4k TV box cant delete a scheduled programme

Has anyone solved the problem with being unable to delete a scheduled series? 

I am told that there are options for this but I can assure that there is no option on my pile of poo that is called a 4k TV box. 

Silver surfer but been using and messing about with computers since MS DOS 5

If you select the recording, is there an option to modify, that will then give an option to delete the scheduled recording?
