I can't get the guide on my TV hub remote or change channel using the up or down, the blue light is flashing when I press it but nothings happening on the tv any advice?

Try the reset and then re - pair the remote and let us know what happens.

If you are unsure of your phone number, you can find this in My Account or dial 17070 from your landline phone and this will confirm the number for you.
You can also add your account number in the private notes field, which only you and the support staff can view.

It's a new box, only got it last week! Replaced the batteries and tried pairing neither worked, will try a factory reset next

Try changing the batteries first, but if this does not work, try resetting the remote control. Details can be found here.
If that does not help then try a factory reset of the box. This can be found in the settings menu.
