Is the box connected to the internet?
If not, try reconnecting.
If it is then a factory reset is probably the only option but if you have a usb stick for recording, you will use any recordings you have.
To reset the box turn it on, then press the button on the left hand side 5 times in quick succession. The box should then shut down and go through the set up procedure.
