How do you pay for your Now subscription? Via TalkTalk or direct to Now?

Unless you have the HD boost you can only view Now on one device at a time. If you have it set up on your YouView box downstairs, you will need to sign in upstairs which should remove the login downstairs.

If it does not, on your YouView box go to settings in the Now app and log off. You should then be able to login upstairs.

Thank you all problem almost solved. Set up hub on the upstairs tv for sport and set up the old youview box downstairs so in can record my programmes.

the only problem now is every time the hub upstairs is turned on it asks for the user name and password.
could this be because I have a peek at NOW tv downstairs and you can’t use two tv’s at the same time on NOW. Think I read this on comments.

thanks

Hi

The Hub should still connect to the TV via HDMI.

If no aerial is connected to the TV HUB then it will not receive freeview channels - ITV / BBC etc.   Also some on demand players such as ITVX will not work without an aerial connected as they use the aerial signal to identify your region.

Thanks

Karl.

You can use the boxes as described.

The YouView box needs a physical connection to the router which you probably already have and the hub can connect via WiFi.

Both need an aerial connection and to be connected to their respective TVs via HDMI.

You can't wire both up so the y are attached to 2 TVs at a time
