NO SOUND FROM TALKTALK BOX

every so often I lose the sound from my talktalk box. I get a struck through speaker logo in the top right corner of the TV screen and nothing I do seems to rectify the problem. The only thing that works is to actually turn off the power to the box and allow it to go through the complete start up procedure which takes several minutes. Any ideas?

Hi

 

The speaker symbol on the TV is for MUTE, so when this happens, press the mute or volume up on the youview remote, then if nothing happens, press the same keys on the TV's own remote to identify if the mute option is from the box or the TV itself.
