New Talk Talk TV box - only picking up 7 channels

Hello,

Just set up my new Talk Talk TV Box and it's only picking up 7 channels.  Have retuned at least 10 times and still the same.  Tried both by using wifi and ethernet but still the same result.  Have checked the ariel connection and reconnected direct to the television and can get all freeview channels.  HDMI is connected direct to telly not through splitters,  Can you please assist in resolving the issue?

Hi

I can swap out the box to see if it's at fault.

Add your account number of phone number to your 'Community Profile' so I can locate your details.

Thanks

Karl.

Hi Karl,

Thanks for the advice but I'm afraid it hasn't done the trick.  I've reset the box following the instructions and retuned as well.  The retuning screen is showing that it has picked up 12 channels however the guide is only showing the same 7 channels.  I completed the above reset with the ethernet cable.  We have a smart LG TV, an excellent aerial and wifi signal and all the freeview channels can be found as well when not using the box.

Then usual apps are showing via the box i.e. ITVX, BBC iPlayer etc.

What's the next step with the box?  Personally I think there's a technical fault with the box but I'm certainly not an expert!

Hi

Try a full reset and see if that helps :

Yes thanks Karl.  No splitters or amplifiers.  TV aerial was plugged into TV box diectly from socket.  Have tried using ethernet connection and wifi.  Good reception in this area.

Hi

Are you using the same aerial at the box that you used for the TV, with no splitters or amplifiers in place ?

Thanks

Karl.
