I currently have now Tv and Netflix I have seen Talktalk are not allowing to add this as part of a package and they you need subscribe separately. Will this affect  me will they ask me to do this i have a good deal on a full package I am in contract with Talktalk until August 2026 ? Also if they do not honour the contract and take away my package and force me sign separately to now and Netflix this should mean I can leave for free as they have gone against my contract I sign up for

Hi

Not at all, the removal of NOW TV and Netflix is not contractual, and does not form part of your contract, but is simply an add on.

The removal of Netflix and NOW TV add to bill is a business decision and there is nothing we can do to change this.

It is now your decision whether to accept this, or if you wish to discuss your contract or seek another provider, speak to our customer loyalty teams and discuss options with them.

Thanks

Karl.

Hi @Medge1 great as Karl undoubtedly is he doesn't have the authority to alter or amend agreements.

The solution he offers has more possibilities for you. It is good advice.

Thanks

You have advertised and sold it has a package if it was case of what you are saying my package would have been £28 for my broadband and £5 for my free view total £33 the packaging signed up too was a cost £68 per your advertisement so that is a £68 package so you have mis sold a package if you are say what you are saying if they are add ons why are Talktalk charging me £68 a month otherwise I would have add them on myself paying them individually but that is not the case as I pay you directly £68 so you are in breach of your contract because of either way is false advertisement as the add on go through you per the package at the time you offered customer therefore you are liable.  You there  have to give the option of coming away from my contract with any further cost otherwise I will be left with something I did not sign up to as you have mis sold a product the fact all the billing goes to you unfortunately makes it your package whether you like it or not

I was told by one your chat that my now Tv and Netflix would not be removed until the end of my contract in September 2026

I sign a two contract with discount on now Tv if you force me to just have broadband with you this does mean you have gone against the i signed which means I can leave without a penalty

Hi

Now and Netflix services through TalkTalk are ending and customers will soon have to take these services directly from these respective suppliers. As fr8ys mentions, this is only an add on and not a contractual option, so you would not be allowed to leave mid contract.

Thanks

Karl.

You will be advised when your service will end. I assume you can still access them.

Note though that the use of Now and Netflix do not form part of your contract as you can cancel these without affecting your broadband which does form your contract.

The removal of these types of add-ons do not give you the option to leave without penalty.
