I've had some conversations regarding a replacement remote. The latest was with 'fr8yrs' ? where it was suggested that since a remote for my hub could not be supplied have received an out of date one a replacement Hub could be supplied. I am wondering if there is any news on this? The last message I tried to send from the emails I have received was undeliverable.

@RFL1066, remember that, if you are no longer using any TV services through Talktalk, the charge needs to be cancelled by phoning 03451 720088. Check with them how to dispose of the old box.

The Plus box is no longer available. It only recorded from Freeview channels, not on demand. No recorder will do that.

The box we have does record except for programs that are not available on demand. The TalkTalk TV Plus box seems to be able to record any program regardless of on demand or not.

As far as I'm aware @RFL1066 it's only the TV Hub that's supplied and that does not record. This is the one you have that has the faulty remote
If you want a box that records you could look online for options. You could then request a returns label and remove the TV charge.
Your choice.

Ok, thanks for that and all your help. I guess I will be buying a new TV hub. How much will that cost me? Alternatively I might upgrade to a TV Plus box - how much would that cost? How would I go about either option? Thanks.

Please note that I've looked into your account, I'll need you to try and get the remote from TalkTalk store or you can try making the order in my account. I've noticed that the only way for you to get a compatible remote is to order the hole box which will be chargeable unless the box is faulty and we offer you one. Thanks
