I have been with Talktalk for a number of years now and joined them from BT, I already had a set top Youview box from BT that automatically updated to Talktalk when I changed suppliers and have never received one from Talktalk. When I log into my account it states that my box is not supported, should I not be provided with a new one as I pay a monthly subscription for this service.

Do you pay a separate monthly fee for entertainment on your bill?
The contract may say TV but this is the overall name of the possible aspects that can be included.
If there is no separate fee then you are not paying for the TV aspect.
Additionally, as the box is an ex BT one, you effectively have your own box and it is nothing to do with TalkTalk. The TalkTalk skin is only updated to show the network you are on.
If you are paying monthly, you should have been sent a TalkTalk box, as there is no charge for using your own box.
You do need to discuss this with customer services, but also bear in mind that TalkTalk do not provide boxes that record, so contact them on the number @amahle-TT has provided.
