TV Hub with the fast broadband service

After moving, I found that Fibre Broadband service is unavailable, so I am currently subscribed to Fast Broadband. However, it keeps buffering, and I can't upgrade because Fibre Broadband service is not available in my area.

I am now considering applying for the TV Hub, but I am worried whether it will function properly with Fast Broadband. Currently, I cannot watch even Netflix without buffering.

Would it be okay to apply for the TV Hub given the speed of Fast Broadband?

Without some specifics, it is impossible to say:-

 

  1. What make/model of router do you have?
  2. What is your minimum download speed?
  3. If you log into the router, what is it measuring your speed as (often in the initial dashboard display)?
  4. Assuming that you plan to connect your proposed TV Hub via WiFi, what sort of wireless speeds do you get nearby to your TV?
