Can I use a You View box instead of the 4k box which only records one channel and it uses a USB memory device?

@Marion83

Sorry, I've just reread your question and need to ask, do you still have your old YouView box?

If so there is no reason you cannot use that for recording.

You will need to have an aerial connected to the box though so may need a splitter to provide feeds to all devices that require an aerial.

As an aside if you don't have your YouView box, there are Freeview boxes that record available on the open market

The only other box TalkTalk now supply is the TV Hub which is non recordable.

You can compare the boxes here.

If you want one of these you would need to phone and negotiate for one.
