TalkTalk TV HUB
- Press the Home button on your remote
- Press the up arrow to select Settings (cog)
- Select Device Preferences
- Select About
- You'll find the information under Model
TalkTalk TV 4K Box
- Press the Home button on your remote
- Select Settings
- Select General
- You'll find the information under Your device name
TalkTalk TV Box and Plus Box
- Depending on the remote you have, press the Menu or youview button
- Press the up arrow to select Settings
- Select Device Information
- You'll find displayed the Model, Manufacturer, Serial Number and Identifier for your TalkTalk TV box

Players and Apps
We understand that sometimes you miss your favourite shows or want to binge watch the latest series everyone is talking about. That's why you have access to Players and Apps such as BBC iPlayer, NOW and Netflix directly on your TV box. It's important to have a TV aerial plugged into your TV box to benefit from the full features of your Players and Apps. Some Featured Apps below will only display when a TV aerial is detected.
TalkTalk TV Hub
Find all your favourite On Demand players, like BBC iPlayer, alongside subscription services like Netflix, Prime, NOW and Disney+ and more. There’s no lengthy contracts from us either. Just cherry pick the subscriptions you want as and when you want. You’re in control.
Google Play
Your TalkTalk TV Hub brings you more than just TV. Explore an ever-expanding universe of over 10,000 apps on your TV screen. Movies, TV, fitness, music and games – all right there in one place. Watch, play and do – whatever you want. And just like on your phone, you can download new apps and updates the moment they become available. Whatever channels or subscriptions services you prefer, you’ve got the freedom to choose exactly what you want & when you want it with no lengthy contracts from us. You’re free to add or remove services whenever you like, we won't tie you into a big expensive TV bundle. Subscriptions may be required with those app providers directly, but we’ll allow you to build a package that’s right for you. With TalkTalk TV, you’re in control.
Rentals and Subscriptions
With Google Play Movies & TV you can buy and rent movies or TV programmed direct from Google. Just open the Google Play Movies & TV app to get started.

* TV5 Monde Plus app menu is defaulted to French and can be easily changed by going to Preferences > Langue > Anglais (if you require English) and then select Oui to confirm. You can then select subtitles in a variety of languages for each programme.

A short press of the power button on your TV Hub remote will put your box into Active standby and the blue light will be displayed. After 20 minutes your TV Hub will go into Network standby and the blue light will turn off.

Please use the power cable provided with your new TV Hub and not a 3rd party or existing cable.
We also recommend you use the HDMI cable supplied. If using an alternative cable, ensure it complies with UHD 4K Standards.

* Pair your Bluetooth® devices like a headset, soundbar etc. Go to the Settings menu then Audio Devices to add your device. This feature allows you to connect multiple Bluetooth® devices but use one at a time for audio.

If you've forgotten your PIN that was set during the initial setup of your box, you'll need to either request a new Master PIN or reset your device.
Master PIN request
Please contact us to request a new Master PIN. Once you've received this you'll need to update it on your TV box within 24 hours by following these simple steps:
- Press the Home button on your remote
- Select Settings
- Select Parental Settings
- Enter your new Master PIN and select Modify PIN
- Set a new 4 digit PIN for your TV Box
Reset your device
If you complete a reset you'll lose all your custom settings, reminders and credentials of 'On Demand' apps during a factory reset. You'll also lose any recorded programmes along with any scheduled recordings. We only recommend a factory reset as a last resort.
To reset your device,
- Press the Home button on your remote
- Select Settings
- Select Advanced
- Enter your PIN
- Select Reset settings
Alternatively, to reset your box you can also press the small square reset button on the side of the TV box five (5) times.
After you’ve reset your box you’ll need to complete the setup wizard by following the onscreen steps and enter a new 4 digit PIN for your TV box.
You can connect various Bluetooth accessories to your TalkTalk TV 4K box, including headsets and speakers. In this video we show you how easy it is to set up and use.

The TalkTalk TV Box is included in the monthly access fee for TalkTalk TV. We don't currently sell any of our TalkTalk TV boxes separately. However, you can check for any upgrade or renewal options available to you in My Account. Alternatively, if you need to order a replacement box or discuss any upgrade options, please contact us.
* You can pause live TV and then restart viewing or fast forward / rewind back to the point you paused the programme. However, you cannot immediately rewind live TV to an earlier time. Please insert a USB (minimum 32GB) and record a programme if you want the flexibility to watch and rewind to any point in the programme.
