Hi
I just upgraded to talk talk fibre 65 plus tv . I have received a email saying my talk talk tv service is now live . It says all I need to do it plug my exciting tv box into the router. I have never had a tv box so I don’t have anything to plug into the router . Am I suppose to request a box or should one be automatically sent to me ?
im very confused so any help will be appreciated.

As ferguson mentioned, all package names have Tv in the title so that this is quickly set up if TV is something you want to add. You are not currently paying any TV charge, but if TV is something you would like to add to your package and take the offer of a TV box, you can call our customer Teams to add this.

OK, you said in your first post "exciting" box, rather than "existing" and I took you at your word! TV is not included unless you specifically agreed to it. The support team can check this for you when they are back online on Monday, make sure that your personal details including TalkTalk phone number and/or account number are complete on your community profile (click here) so that they can link your forum identity with your account and then wait for them to respond.

No I never discussed anything about tv . I didn’t know it existed. I was in an old Fibre 35 deal before this new one. My new package is just called talk talk fibre 65 plus tv with this confirmation email saying that the service for talk talk tv is now live and all I need to do is plug in my existing box
it is so confusing. Do you know wether all packages are now called “plus tv” but don’t actually include tv unless you pay extra ?

Did you agree to pay the TV fee as part of your upgrade? Have you not had a confirmation of oveall costs? All TalkTalk services "include" TV in the sense that it can be added on, so the notifications you have received can be a wee bit misleading. Do you actually want a TV box?

I’m guessing so as I have recived an email that says my talk talk tv is now ready to go. I haven’t received my first bill yet though .

Does your monthly package include a £5 fee for TV?
