Hi

You can install apps from the playstore onto the TV HUB as that is android based.  the TV Box you have is the Netgm 4K TV Box.  You cannot install apps on this, these are preset by Netgem directly.

Thanks

Karl.

Yeah, that's for a different type of box.

Hi Karl.

Found this in another section:

how to install a new app
Press the 'Home' button on your TalkTalk Hub remote
Select 'Apps'
Select 'Google Play Store'
Use 'Search' or browse for the app you would like to install
Select 'Install' - a progress bar will be displayed
Either select 'Open' to start the app immediately, or 'Uninstall' if you've changed your mind and want to remove the app

Hi

The Netgem box cannot have additional Apps installed on it.  All apps on this box are pre-added by Netgem.

Hi Karl

I've loaded it on my Android phone and it pairs with the box.

Everything seems to work, but I want to load another app on the box via the TalkTalk app on my phone and that doesn't work.

Instructions I've read say press the Home button then Apps button, but the Apps button doesn't appear.

I thought it may be about the Android version not supporting it, so I tried it on the iPad.

Hi

The 4k TV app will work with the Netgem box.  Do you have another device / iphone etc you can test this on.
