Upgrade for tv box

I have a 4k tv box. I am keen to see my photos and videos from my phone and ipad on my tv, which I can’t do with the 4k box. Is it possible to get an upgrade to the tv hub box?

How to cast photos/videos

  1. Make sure your iPad and TV are on the same Wi‑Fi network
  2. On your iPad, open the Photos app
  3. Open the photo or video you want to view
  4. Tap the Share icon (square with an arrow)
  5. Tap AirPlay
  6. Select your TV from the list
  7. Your TV may show a code — enter it on your iPad

Your photo or video should now appear on your TV.

Thanks for the information. I have downloaded the net gem app and linked it to my tv but I’m still don’t understand how I can cast from my iPad to the tv. I want to view my photos and videos on the tv. Any alive will be helpful.  thanks

@ferguson I no longer have this but really should have checked the box functions! Doh!

 

@pne168 according to the box features shown here, you can cast to the box from your phone and iPad.

You will need to phone to discuss this as you may have to recontract to do so, if possible.

 

Staff here cannot discuss contract issues ile renewals.

If you have a smart TV does this allow you to cast from your phone to the TV?

 

Alternatively, you may be able to connect to the 4k box or TV via a usb lead and view this way.
