Wasn’t told I need an aerial for the talk talk box to work properly.

Have got the code YVM4302 . Says aerial strength isn’t good. ITV, Channel 4 & 5 seem ok but BBC1 & 2 are unwatchable. When it is clear the picture is brilliant but after a few minutes I get the code. Can I not use it by streaming? Help please! I Really don’t want to have to buy an aerial. Plus would need the landlord’s permission.

There is no streaming option for live TV. You do need an aerial to get these.

 

It seems you do get some do what is connected?

 

You can get live TV on iPlayer for the BBC ones and there are a number of catch-up apps you can use for other channels 

 

Also Apps such a Pluto and Rakuten have many live channels and free to watch programmes and films.

 

However if you want to watch live terrestrial TV you do need an aerial.
