Is this recent? There has always been a fluctuation between HD and SD broadcasts. Is this what you what are noticing when you change channels or is it at random times?

have you tried changing batteries?

Have you tried resetting the remote. Instructions can be found by using the search bar.

Are the volume buttons sticking if you try to change the volume. If so try cleaning with a wet wipe.
