Am I able to use QoS for a VoIP call with FTTC broadband?

I have a 65mb FTTC broadband service and I'm trying to work out if I can replace my landline with a VoIP service. I'd need to protect any calls from a large download hogging all the bandwidth, is that possible on a Technicolor DGA4134 router?

I chatted to a TalkTalk sales person but they say it's only possible if I have a dedicated leased line.

Any enlightenment gratefully received.

Hi

You would not specifically be able to control QoS settings with a TalkTalk Router, however I use my own Asus router, and there are many other models available that can be used to give full control over individual device QoS settings.

Thanks

Karl.
