Cannot log on to my account today

I cannot log on to my account today tried the username and password but this did not work then tried username and getting a pin number sent to my email account but on entering the pin number the page just resets to the logon page I have tried this numerous times with no success

OBVIOUSLY still an issue! I wonder if bad actors from <a certain rogue state> has been up to some more mischief?!

 

Seriously though, being unable to get into "My Account" is a pain in the nether regions.

Thank you for the feeding back. We have looked into this, and I can confirm there is an ongoing issue with My account. Our technical team is working very hard to have this resolved. Please do bear with us for the moment while we attempt to restore full functionality.

I tried using my Samsung android mobile phone but had the same results it started preparing dashboard, bill etc and  then reverted to the logon screen

Hi @Growler123 I apologize for the inconvenience, can you please try to log on using a different device while we further look into this. Please also let us know if you are able to log in using a different device.

HI I deleted all browsing history and tried a  different browser but get the same results when trying to log in once I put in the pin number it says preparing your bill, preparing your dashboard and then its goes straight backto the log in screen

But I am not sure whether, not being able to log into MyAccount, is part of the issue

Sometimes, it comes back, and one is able to log in

Yes, @Growler123 

There is something really wrong going on at TalkTalk.

This has been happening over the last 4 days.

I can't log into MyAccount, either.

 

At https://community.talktalk.co.uk/t5/Service-Status-Dashboard/bd-p/service,
it contains 2 things:
1.

a link to 'Visit My Connection', at the top of the page
the address showing under 'Visit My Connection' is:
"https://www.talktalk.co.uk/help/servicestatus?communityfooter=true"

Normally, clicking 'Visit My Connection', takes one the the real address at,

"https://support.talktalk.co.uk/" i.e. My Connection = "https://support.talktalk.co.uk/"

2.

a black board (with 8 links), at the bottom of the page, noting any problems

Check out the below service status in your area.
If it’s green, there’s nothing to report.

BroadbandPhoneTVMobile
EmailWebsites & SupportPlanned maintenanceSecurity updates

 

The "Websites & Support" slot is currently marked orange, NOT green.

I am not sure, if this is related to not being able to log in to MyAccount.

Anyway, within the "Websites & Support" slot, there is a link, My Connection  = https://auth.talktalk.co.uk/login

 

Whether one clicks Visit My Connection or My Connection

TalkTalk tries to log the user into MyAccount, but does not achieve it.

This is the same as attemping to log into MyAccount directly.

The procedure goes through a slow loop:

Preparing account details...
Preparing yout bill...
Preparing your dashboard...

and eventually fails.

 

As I said above this inability lo log in has been happening for 4 days.

Sometimes it has fixed itself and allows the user to log in.
