Changed account ownership and now my bill is higher?

I recently changed account ownership from my mums name to mine, she was paying £36 a month, I received the first bill last week and it says that I am due to pay £42.01, a "Charges since you joined" fee was added? What exactly is this payment for? I haven't just joined I just wanted to change the account name to mine as I will be paying for this.

Have you tried a different browser clear your cache and cookies  to view your bill?

I haven't been able to access my account online, is the website normally this bad? It's crashing and taking forever to load anything. I get this error: Failed to load resource: net::ERR_BLOCKED_BY_CLIENT. All I want to do is view my billing info and download the invoice.

It might depend on exactly when you joined, @Asking12012 or when they actually set up the switch to you as account holder.

 

Check which calendar dates wete covered by her last bill. 

 

You will also be on a monthly billing cycle but there may be a few days to cover between the end of her payments and the start of your month going forward.

 

Also check how much time was left in contract.
