Contract early termination

In the light of yet another price increase for a very average service, I would like to know how to calculate the early termination charges as I am going to look for an alternative provider. With respect, I seek a provider who at least 'tries' to justify a price increase, rather than just saying it's being increased because it's allowed.

As of today the cancellation fee is £68.75

The annual increase is built in to your contract and the majority of providers operate a similar method. This will change in the near future, but only to the extent that Ofcom will require providers to quote in-contract increases in clear money terms, rather than now where they cannot be accurately predicted because of the link to the inflation rate.
