Loss of Internet for 5 Days

We lost our Internet for 5 days on Thursday 25 Jan.
I reported this each day to T/T - each time I was given an automated message saying it was being investigated and there was no point in speaking to a team member because they do not have any further information.
Now I am told that because it was an automated message the call was not recorded and because of that there will be no compensation.
How shabby and dishonest is that???
