Hi, hope you can help me.
I cancelled my home broadband account with talk talk in Dec before moving abroad. I cleared all dues in Dec 2023 but still got an email asking for a final payment and seemed to be charged for the router that was returned!. I'm not able to login to my account from abroad and have no way to contact them. I want to dispute the amount and if nothing works, happy to pay even, just want to be done with this! Can you pls help?

You didn't actually pay or have been charged for the router so there is no refunds owed.

oh that's amazing! Is my account fully closed and no dues pending? I'll look forward to seeing a confirmation!
Ps: should I expect a refund for the returned router?

It looks like another bill was being prepared as the cease was completing, so they overlapped. Its not a charge for equipment.
This has been cleared and the account is now fully disconnected.
Your will receive 1 more notification for your final zero balance bill at the end of this month.
Sorry for any confusion.

Did you keep a certificate of posting for returning the router, @sindoverseas?
That helps track its progress.
@Arne-TalkTalk should be able to help.

You can easily log in using a free VPN, I use Windscribe.
