My contract ends in February 2026 - can i renew before then and if so when?

Hi,

 

My full fibre 900 contract ends on 2/2/26 - when will I be able to renew it (hoping I might be able to get a black Friday deal)? Is there a loyalty contact number?

 

I was supplied with 2 Eero Pro 6's with my present contract and TalkTalk gave me another Eero Pro 6 due to low signal in part of the house (thanks to Keith French). Will I still be able to use these or will I have to use the new Wi-Fi Hub 3 with the new contract? - I would prefer to continue using the Eero's.

There's nothing in writing about when exactly we can renew without paying a penalty admin charge. 

 

You can actually renew any time, but it's only in the last few months that it is free of admin charges.

 

In recent years, the forum has advised up to 3 months. More recently, especially if your router is no longer one that Talktalk now offers or maintains, you can renew and get a new router up to 4 months ahead, and not be charged for the router.

 

Even more recently people have been offered renewals 6 months ahead..... so it's basically as and when it suits Talktalk to offer it.

Just to update this thread.

 

I rang the loyalty  team today and was told that you can renew a TalkTalk contract upto 5 months before your existing one ends.

 

I was able to renew my contract for another 18 months, Full Fibre 900, Voip and anytime calls for a few pound less than what I am paying now and my price is guaranteed for the 18 months, no April price rises. In my opion, this is a very good deal.

 

I was also advised that I could continue to use my Eero devices with the new contract.

It is best to leave it until the last 30 days to improve your bargaining position. But you can but try: call 0345 172 5157, they will reopen at 9:00am tomorrow.
