Returning equipment

Hi I am returning my old router but i have been sent some phone thing that came with the eero.

I don't need this phone thingy asd i use err my mobile as we are in the 21st century and not the 18th (sorry my little joke)

Can i return it with my old router or just bin it at the recycling centre?

I don't have anything to wrap the router in to protect it so will i be ok sending it back in the plastic bAG as it is?
