Still being charged for a boost I removed months ago!!

Why is it so difficult to contact anything resembling customer service......

I've been a cusotmer since 2010, but I'm becomeing seriously disillusioned with Talktalk.

i removed a boost in my account 6 months ago and im STILL being charged for it!!

I've overpaid by nearly £100 and I'm sick of it...Can anyone help??

 

I started out with nothing...I still have most of it left!!

The boost has now been removed and there will be credit on your account which you can either leave to use against you future bill or request a refund via My Account.

are we any further forward with this issue?... i was scrolling through the Billings topic earlier...this seems to be a common problem... 

But its still unresolved for me.

@Arne-TalkTalk and @Hawker52, I've removed the first two images, as the full email address was showing near the bottom of the copy of the notification email, as well as the phone number in the other image.

 

@Hawker52, always crop your screenshots before posting to make sure that personal information is not visible to the public (across the world....)!

Ive figured out the attachments problem...

Ive attached 3 images, one is your response back in July...

the others are my package details, and what my Manage Add-ons Screen is showing.

Hello Arne,

Thank you for responding so promptly.  I removed the Unlimited UK Calls Boost, some months ago May/June 2023, but it was July before i noticed i was still paying £16 a month for the service.  I went back into my account and sure enough, it was no longer showing in Manage My Add ons...

I contacted you guys, and i think it was yourself Arne, that answered me...on the 14 of July..

It all stalled at the verification stage... i was slow getting to the link and it had expired.......  Then, as it does, life got in the way and i forgot about it till recently, when i checked this months Statement.

I have some images showing what my account is telling me, but unfortunatelly, even though I am signed in, it wont let me attach any images in this response.

Sorry that you are having problems, 

 

What boost are you trying to remove, im presuming its the calls boost.  Also how are you requesting this there are no recent notes on your account.

When staff are back on this board they will pick up your thread, @Hawker52.

 

My Account has been malfunctioning for managing this boost on and off for at least a year.

 

If you do add or remove anything, it's a good idea to check the next bill carefully so that it doesn't drag on with the error. 

 

Did you get an email confirming removal of the boost at the time?
