@nomfezeko-TT

Subscribed messages are not being sent,

Is there a reason for this?

Sorry, you didn't spell out previously whether it was just that they didn't arrive in the inbox or not even in Spam.

@Gliwmaeden2

Do you mean my own spam folder, in my own email address, or someone else's spam folders?

There are no spam email in my spam folder.

I don't agree with you regarding clutter. It can all be filtered to a special TalkTalk notifications folder.

And who is doing the dumping or the blocking?

Edit 13:51:  If they were dumped to my Spam folder, maybe I could deal with that in a different way.

But they are not being sent.

I suspect that the No Reply ones are being treated as Spam across the board, @Billx, possibly because there are simply so many of them.

Since My Account and the forum have been synchronised, I have found that important stuff like billing and technical help, or the pin numbers for logging in, come reliably to my Yahoo inbox.

Everything else gets dumped in Spam - so it's not just a Talktalk thing.

It does help prevent ridiculous amounts of clutter building up in my inbox.

Another incoming TalkTalk email address, yourbill@billing.talktalk.co.uk

is able to get through to my 'MyAccount' username email address, at talktalk.net.

But still, not the incoming TalkTalk email address, no-reply@community-notifications.talktalk.co.uk

(This incoming TalkTalk email address, contains the Subscribed TalkTalk Community email notifications)

So what's happening, @siphosethu-TT ?

This is from the first page of OX's website:

The Leader in Open Email Platforms
With more than 220 million users, and a global customer base including some of the biggest telcos and hosters in the US and Europe, Open-Xchange is the largest independent email provider in the world.

So, what's going on?

If there's currently a fault, then you'll have to wait and check in for updates. Thanks

@nambuso-TT

I can confirm that the conclusion I reached  in my message on  ‎2025-07-16, 01:28 PM  , was incorrect.

I redid the procedure and re-set  my username in MyAccount as my talktalk.net email address in place of my gmail.com email address,

The error which I made, was in saving the wrong email address in Google password manager, in Google browser, at the wrong time.

Going at a slower pace this time, the correct password remained in my talktalk.net email address as an email address, and the original gmail password was used with my talktalk.net email address as a username for MyAccount, and this was saved under a separate and independent entry in Google password manager. So, that's that.

Now, the current situation is:

I can log into MyAccount as usual using my talktalk.net email address, without disturbing that email address's own password.

I can also receive a one-time-code at my talktalk.net email address, from TalkTalk, when logging in to the TalkTalk community/Forum.

What I can't do yet, is receive any of the other usual emails from talktalk.co.uk

I have informed technical support of the fault, on the phone.

They have confirmed that there is a current fault at TalkTalk Community.

Please call in to the full fibre team so they can escalate this if must for you. Thanks

All right @nambuso-TT

As I said previously I was able to change the username to log in to 'MyAccount' from a gmail.com email address to a talktalk.net email address, and leaving my password as was at gmail.com. And all was acceptable to TalkTalk.

But a problem did arise later, as I was unable to log in to my talktalk.net email address unless I changed my password for that, to be the same as the password in 'MyAccount' That was unacceptable to me.

I have now reverted to my gmail.com email address as the username for 'MyAccount'

So this issue of the username for 'MyAccount' is now dealt with.

Now, could we please have the original issue seen to?

What is TalkTalk/Open-Xchange doing to allow TalkTalk-Forum-related auto-forwards from my gmail.com email address to my tiscali.co.uk email address?

Hi there @Billx. I can confirm the email address linked to your MyAccount is the email address that you receive your TalkTalk Forum messages on.

@Billx, Talktalk community notifications will always come to the same address as your My Account/ billing notifications.

OK @kanya-TT

I will be more specific and put it in different words.

Currently, I am receiving TalkTalk Forum messages at my gmail.com email address.

I want in future to receive those messages at my tiscali.co.uk email address.

I am asking you, first, is there a web address, where I can go to, to do that change myself?

If there isn't such a web address, then would you do that change for me?

I am definitely not blind and I have never been. What I am asking is clarity on how you want us to help you. If you can be specific for us that would be great.

Hi, @kanya-TT

(Moderator has REMOVED UNCALLED FOR COMMENT?)

Please refer to my message above, at   on ‎2025-07-15, 01:14 PM

It says:

"Since I am still having a continuation of the problem, and TalkTalk is still unable to fix it, maybe it's now time to stop receiving TalkTalk Community messages via Gmail.com, and to receive them directly at my tiscali.co.uk email address.

Can you please dig deep, and see how we could do this? "

In response to your message of  on ‎2025-07-15, 01:02 PM

You got it all wrong @siphosethu-TT

You said, 'I understand that you are unable to send emails'.

Where did you get that from?

I can send messages no problem

For the thousandth time, the TalkTalk Community sends messages to me at my gmail.com email address,

and gmail.com auto-forwards those TalkTalk Community messages to my tiscali.co.uk email address.

Only recently, tiscali.co.uk started blocking those gmail.com auto-forwards.

Is that so hard to understand?

@fr8ys

No, I don't know that the account and the forum are fully linked.

And I don't know that tiscali.co.uk's security  has not now been restored.

Regarding the linkage,

I have already tested that, and have already changed my TalkTalk 'MyAccount' username to my talktalk.net email address.

According to  TalkTalk that is acceptable. I can log in and out of 'MyAccount'  using that. It's already done.

The forum has not followed suit.

I am still receiving TalkTalk community messages at gmail.com

So, obviously they are not linked.

@Billx

Now the account and forum are linked it's only one email address for both so it's your Gmail that is used and as you know you can't use your tiscali one due to TalkTalk's security policy.
