TalkTalk forcing late payments.

Anyone else having this issue?

TalkTalk continously change my payment date and then charge me £12.50 late fees.

From the beginning of my contract I had set my preffered payment date and set it to my pay day. I've done that twice since hoping to correct the problem myself but it makes no difference. They still move the payment date and have the audacity to charge me late fees.

Hi @NatesLaw

Your payment date is given on your billing notifications its always on or after the 26th but as you dont use Direct Debit your payments are showing as late.

I would suggest setting up a direct debit in My Account.

It's always a movable date in practice because of bank holidays / weekends etc so it's kept as close as feasible to your chosen date but it won't be always exactly the same, @NatesLaw.

Your notification email has to to be read carefully so that you have enough in your account to cover it on the right day.

If you change dates you have to be careful with the timing as it takes a while to update and could mess up pending transactions.

From the 29th of March our TalkTalk Community will move to peer-to-peer support and the TalkTalk team will no longer be here to support with queries. Don’t worry we still have plenty of ways to reach out if you need to speak to TalkTalk directly. For more details check out the link in the post at the top of any forum message board.
