i have tried to renew my account 3 times over the last 10 weeks but to no avail i have phoned up 6 times each lasting over an hour and each time being told it had all gone through and got comfirmation emails and letters but still to this day nothing and my account shows still on old account

Just to repeat what TalkTalk Support's Arne has told you. You have made a formal complaint. That formal complaint will be dealt with by a Complaints Manager who will contact you. The Complaints manager will need to unblock the stuck order to fix the renewal process. It's a straightforward process but must now be handled by the Complaints manager only.

There is now an open complaint on your account. The renewal orders are stuck behind an order made earlier, the complaint manager will need to clear this in order to fix this problem.

@cliffy2, please complete your community forum profile details for TT staff to identify your account.
Go via your avatar/name; settings; add your Talktalk landline number / account number in Personal Information. SAVE CHANGES.
I'll move this to the billing section for staff to look into why the renewal doesn't appear to get processed properly.
They answer Monday to Friday during the day.
