Broadband help

Broadband fibre 65 throttled to 2.9mb/s

Hi,

 

My broadband seems to be fixed at 2.9mb/s instead of the usual 7.7mb/s I usual see on the router download speed.

 

I have run the talk talk tests and it reports no issues.

 

Any ideas what is happening here?

Thanks for checking in.

 

A change of router has resolved issue, however I was a bit suspicious when he told me to not change the SSID as this would decrease the speed!!

 

I have anyway and all is good.

Thanks both,

 

Tried again speeds still same, and yes tried switching router off for extended periods of time.

 

I have an engineer due today at 3, let's see what he finds.
