Disable WiFi channel optimisation

My WiFi settings keep 'optimising' to channel 36 which has other visible networks. I have changed it several times to more open channels but the router keeps resetting it back to channel 36 each day.

It will have to wait until Monday now as the support team won't be back online until then, just to let you know.

I have added the phone number to my community account. Is it possible to configure the optimisation now?

Please can you add your name and TalkTalk landline number to your Community Profile, we can then switch the WIFI optimisation off for you.

Staff can set to switch off wi-fi "optimisation".

 

It will need to be done whenever there's a firmware upgrade or a factory reset of your router. 

 

Please ensure that you have completed your community forum profile details for TT staff to identify your account. 

 

Go via your avatar/name; settings; drop down menu; Personal Information. If no landline number, add your account number. SAVE CHANGES.
