We’ve just been sent an eero. How do we turn it on? The app and internet both say to plug it in and the light will turn on, but it hasn’t. We’ve tried the (tiny) reset button on the bottom. Have we just got a dodgy one?
Also, why replace a router that had 4 Ethernet sockets with an eero that has just 2? What are we supposed to plug our hive and tenda into?

It should turn on once the power unit is connected to it and plug into a working electric outlet. If it doesn't, then it sounds like it is faulty
Please confirm the above and I will get some one to look into it for you.
If you need more ethernet ports, then you just need to buy a small gigabit ethernet switch, which is often less than £20.
