Faulty Router

Evening.

 

Over the last couple of months the WiFi speed from router to devices (apple, android and windows devices are all experiencing this issue) has been dropping speed or cutting out regularly. I contacted webchat and they updated the firmware. 1 hour after this update the problem got worse (speed of 0.5Mb). I performed a hard reset using the reset button on the hub and this briefly fixed the problem - for the first time in months the WiFi speed matched very close to that of the ethernet speed. However an hour later the WiFi crashed again and ever since the average speed from router to devices is approx 3Mbs.

 

We live in a rural area and there is no interference from other devices nearby. I fully believe this to be a faulty hub. The dashboard maintains a steady high-speed connection from outside to the hub despite the awful connection speed through WiFi.

 

Please send a new hub.

I've ordered the replacement router, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.
