I was switched to bt broadband 3 weeks ago when I was caught by a gentleman at the door a few weeks prior however at the time by emails weren’t working and I was pretty busy the gentleman was even holding my phone and asking me questions about my WiFi ect, but because I wasn’t able to receive the final link I didn’t think he was able to finish the process but apparently so because bt router was sent to my address and I was also billed by talk talk for a leaving fee but I don’t and didn’t want to leave talk talk I wish to remain with them and get me back online if there’s anyway I can get this sorted as soon as possible? I think this is shocking

Hi there @Ashley90 seems as if the guy from BT did successfully move you over to them as your TalkTalk line was taken over on the 11/04/2025. Your TalkTalk account is now disconnected. It disconnected on the 11/04/2025, please do contact our billing team to sort out the outstanding balance as this may cause negative markers on your name.

@Ashley90, did you get a "sorry to see you go" email from Talktalk?
You'd normally get that, with a chance to change your mind, as well as an indication of early termination fees if still in contract.
You may need to explain to them that you couldn't access your emails for a while etc.....
But you also need to be aware of BT's own cooling off period. If that's now finished, switching back to Talktalk could be very expensive, as BT will have its own early termination fees.

You would be best to phone and speak to the loyalty team as contract negotiations can't be completed on the forum.
Whether you are too late into the process I dont know but the loyalty team will be able to advise.
