I THINK I MIGHT NEED A NEW ROUTER WHICH WAS ORIGINALLY SUPPLIED BY THE POST OFFICE BEFORE THE PROVIDER WAS TAKEN OVER BY SHELL ENERY AND NOW TALK TALK.
I CAN CONNECT TO THE INTERNET FINE ON MY PC BUT MY TELEVISION TELLS ME I AM NOT IN FACT CONNECTED AND NOTHING I DO SEEMS TO RESOLVE THE ISSUE. TH TV SHOWS I AM NOT CONNECTED BUT IT IS SHOWING A MAC CONNECTION WHEREAS MY CONNECTION IS IN FACT POST_OFFICE_3D09_ SG ON THE BACK OF MY ROUTER BUT I CANNOT GET CHANGE THIS EVEN IF I DO A CHECK. MY ROUTERIS SEVEAL YEARS OLD SO MAY NEED REPLACING. CAN YOU HELP PLEASE?

@davsamp, writing all in upper case is actually very tough on the eyes, as well as being considered "shouting" in public forum communications, so it's really best to use normal settings for your posts.
