This gets worse - cannot connect mt smart (samsung) TV because it asks for:
MAC address
IP address
Sub Mask
Gateway
DNS Server
Somebody from the community said that I did not need these cades as the TV would connect automaticly - well it does not after serveral attempts.
Also impossible to log on to my account for help - after entering e mail address and password the screen freezes after 30 seconds of tying to "connect" May have to go back to BT !!

Top tip: If your TV was connected to the former BT Hub via Wi-Fi then either:
- Go to the TV Wi-Fi settings and update those to the TalkTalk Hub Wi-Fi Name and password
- Or change the TalkTalk Wi-Fi Name and password to the same as you were using for the BT Hub
- NB No change needed if you're connecting the TV via Ethernet cable to the TalkTalk Hub. Setup is automatic

Hi
are you connecting your smart tv via wifi or via a direct cable to the router?
Thanks
