Moving home - online & customer services contradictions

Hi 

Im moving home on the 23 Dec and went to book the move online. All was fine; I can keep my number and my package & price would be the same. Nomengineer needed. When booking the dates it was only possible to book turn off date as 16 Dec and switch on as 23 Dec. That is week without broadband and tv!!

I then phone customer services who said that l could not keep my number and the package Fibre 65vwas not available at the new address unless l did a takeover of the current tenants number (which he might want to keep I wouldnt know so cant just say yes) Also an engineer will have to attend. However I could book the dates l wanted ie turn off 21 Dec and switch on 23 Dec! Honestly the ladyvwasnt very helpful and kept on saying its the only option and couldn't understan why online would give me different informtion.

Help - what do l do??
