I have contacted talktalk via phone and there isn't an issue apparently and I need to work from home which I cant do now please help

I'm sorry to hear this. I've run a test on the line which has detected a potential fault.
Do you have a dial tone?
Have you arranged a TalkTalk engineer visit?
