New router

Hi, I'm a long-term TalkTalk customer. Have just renewed by contract after previously using TT for 2.5 years. The router is something I inherited from the previous tenants, so is even older than that.
I've noticed the router is VERY slow to reconnect after cutouts (which has happened twice in the past 24 hours, nice one TT). I would like a new one. Can anyone from TT assist?

If you log in to "My Account" before logging in to the Community you circumvent the 2FA.
Now surfing from a Dell Inspiron 3881 running Windows 11 and a Qualcomm QCA9377 Wireless Network Adapter with Sagemcom FAST 5364 router.

I've ordered you a replacement router, please allow 24-48hrs for this to arrive.
Let us know how the connection compares with this router.
Thanks
Debbie

Hi,
Thanks, I've now done this. I used my TT account (same email etc) to login, so I hope they'd be able to see or work out which account I'm from anyway, but I've now added the full info.
Also, is there any way to turn off 2FA for logging into this forum? Seems very OTT simply to use a forum and is annoying.

If you would like the support team to look into this for you make sure that your personal details including TalkTalk phone number and/or account number are complete on your community profile (click here) so that they can link your forum identity with your account and then wait for them to respond.

I am the account holder. Naturally, I wouldn't be trying to change anything if I wasn't.

Who is the account holder, you or your landlord?
