Hi Simon632,

How are you getting on, do you still need assistance?

@Simon632, please just follow up on this thread.

I know someone suggested you start another and you also followed up on someone else's thread!

Staff will respond to this one during the day.

They are on here early in the morning so do keep plugged in to the test socket for now,  if you have one.

Also try to check the quality of the phone line. Is it clear or crackling?

I just edited my previous reply:

Have you switched off the router for 30 minutes?

So it's a Sagemcom router or Huawei?

Please check the exact model by looking at smallprint. There's a sticky label on the back.

Did you switch it off completely, @Simon632?

It helps if you can tell us what package you are on: ADSL (ordinary copper); FTTC (still copper to the house, but fibre to the cabinet) or FTTP (full fibre), @Simon632.

What router have you got and are any lights showing?

Try switching it off completely for at least half an hour.

If it doesn't come back, try plugging in directly at the test socket. Leave it plugged in there until staff reach your thread tomorrow.

Any "noise" on the phone line?
