I have been without an Internet connection since 6pm yesterday. After reporting, it I got a text message to say that there was an issue with my connection but an engineer had been instructed to fix the fault. This was not to involve attendance at my house. This message was received at 6pm last night.
It is now 4.30 pm today and I am still without a connection.
Does it take an engineer this long to fix a fault. This is surely unacceptable service.
When can I expect to be connected.

The standard SLA with Openreach is 48 hours, longer if there is a weekend involved.
